Upon cooling and automated extraction, raw castings require gate removal, riser excision, and parting-line flashing cleanup. Automated CNC sprue cutting machines and robotic cells fitted with high-speed diamond wheels or abrasive bands execute precision excision. Using vision guidance or pre-programmed toolpaths, the system compensates for dimensional tolerances, delivering uniform seam clearing without altering basic structural geometry.
Motorcycle footrests, mirror arms, engine clutch covers, and e-bike pedal cranks typically require pristine industrial coatings or decorative plating.
