Understanding the engineering mechanics and financial advantages of permanent mold gravity casting over sand casting and high-pressure die casting.
Unlike High Pressure Die Casting (HPDC), where molten metal is injected at extreme velocity causing gas entrapment and porosity, our Gravity Pour Casting Machines utilize smooth, controlled tilting curves. Molten aluminum (A356, AlSi7Mg, AlSi9Cu3) or brass enters the reusable steel mold under natural gravitational acceleration, ensuring laminar flow. This allows Algerian manufacturers to heat-treat (T5, T6) cast parts without surface blistering, achieving structural strength required by European and international buyers.
For small to mid-batch part runs typical in Algeria's growing replacement auto parts and custom industrial sectors, HPDC tooling is prohibitively expensive and economically inflexible. Gravity permanent mold tooling costs a fraction of HPDC tooling while lasting tens of thousands of cycles longer than disposable sand molds, drastically reducing unit manufacturing costs.
